I am still alive everyone! I knew I hadn’t had time to post in a while, but I just realized that it’s been two months. I’m so sorry! This time of year is so hectic for students. We have to take exams, prepare for clubs and sports next year, attend awards ceremonies, get our classes straightened out for next year and so on. Lately, I have been overwhelmed by these pressures and succumbed to many of my old negative thought processes and I can only assume that many of you have been stressed with all these things and upcoming swim suit season. So I just want to take some time out of my busy schedule to remind you of many of the things I often need to be reminded.
- You are more than a number on a scale or a clothing size.
- It’s okay to take time for yourself.
- Taking care of yourself is important but it’s just as important for your mental health to take a day off from the gym or eat a cupcake.
- You are also more than a test score.
- You are beautiful (or handsome).
- Someone loves you.
- IT’S OKAY TO BE DIFFERENT!
This isn’t a long post because I still don’t have much time but I’m basically here to say you CAN get through this whatever it is!
And I will be back with more regular posts by May when AP testing is FINALLY over. Then I hope to go back to posting every two weeks with a variation between food and topics very important to me. I also plan to blog whenever I have wifi in Costa Rica this summer. I will be there July 10-30th. I may even attempt to write a post in Spanish. (with a translation especially for Mom haha)
